Installing the HubSpot Outlook Extension

Purpose

The HubSpot Outlook extension allows employees to:

  • track email opens and clicks

  • log emails automatically

  • insert meeting links

  • add contacts to HubSpot

  • record historical client information even if employee turnover happens

all directly from Outlook.


Installation Steps

  1. Open HubSpot

  2. Navigate to:

 
Settings → General → Email → Email Integration
 
  1. Download the HubSpot Outlook extension

  2. Follow the installation instructions

You can also go directly to outlook and then "get add-ins" and search for "HubSpot Sales" and add it directly to your Outlook browser.

Once installed, the extension allows you to:

  • log emails to HubSpot

  • create new contacts


Recommended Settings

Enable:

  • email tracking

  • automatic logging

  • contact creation prompts
